In the summer of 1986, Marilyn (Johnson) Pearson opened Marilyn’s Bakery in a small workspace at Johnson’s Farm Produce.  Aunt Carol Brenn passed down her bakery knowledge and equipment to Marilyn.  With the help of many family members the business continues to grow.  Today, Marilyn’s daughter, Barbara, and son-in-law, Robert, with their bakery crew produce almost 70,000 pies a year.  The tradition of a true family business continues.

We are passionate bakers and chefs, utilizing in-season and local ingredients to create the highest quality sweet and savory treats. Marilyn’s Bakery is a full line bakery and café. Baking from scratch daily with our farm culture background, our goal is to share our unique homemade tradition with you.  Wedding cakes, baby shower caterings, birthday celebrations, funeral dinners, and holiday pie – Let our family tradition be part of your family tradition.

Easter is April 20th.  We will be open Saturday April 19th 8 am - 6 pm.  We will close Easter Sunday.  

April 22nd is Marilyn's birthday and we naturally have cake.  Join her for cake on her birthday to sample some our our new icings and flavors.  We will also have our gluten-free line ready.
