Since 1986 Marilyn's Bakery has provided northwest Indiana with quality homemade baked goods with a conscience focusing on seasonal items made with locally-grown, farm fresh produce. We offer a large vegetarian selection and a wide variety of healthy alternatives. We serve only fair-trade coffee and are introducing environmentally-conscious packaging to further support our efforts. Indiana State Pie: Sugar Cream PieIndiana State Legislature voted Sugar Cream Pie as the State Pie for Indiana. We have been making Sugar Cream Pies by order with a secret family recipe -- this is the only secret recipe we have. Now with its notority, we are making Sugar Cream Pies daily. Stop in for a sample.

Our doors first open on March 3rd this year. Pie demonstrations with Marilyn, samples of new products, and our decorated cakes on display. Come in for activities for the kids and special discounts. Anniversary Celebration -- 23 years in business and we're having our annual 1986 special pricing on our original products: Apple, Cherry and Pecan Pies $5.00 and White Bread $1.00 Come have a piece of cake with Marilyn. Also on sale Earth Cakes and Earth Pies, stop in to see what we're doing. Robert sells large and small pies and seasonal nutbreads in a variety of locations to bring the farm culture to you. You are welcome to call Marilyn's Bakery 219-962-BAKE and place your order to guarantee your pie. Please note, orders need to be paid in advance which includes pies and nutbreads.
